Respond To Your BackerKit Survey ASAP!
If you haven’t already, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. This is how we’ll confirm your order and gather your shipping information! So please don’t sleep on this! It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the survey invite email, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase any additional items if you’d like!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses (including your address) at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. Just return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email!

Additional Information
Field & Strategy Guides and Mini Posters
Field & Strategy Guides have automatically been added to the accounts of backers whose pre-campaign email's match the email used for Kickstarter. Pre-Campaign supporters will be able to provide their pre-campaign email address so that we can match you with your Kickstarter account in case there is a mismatch. Mini Posters have also been automatically added for all backers who pledged within in the first 48hrs.
If you added excess Utility Boards to your order we have automatically reduced the number of boards in your order to match the number of games you pledged for (only one board is needed per game). This will show as a credit in BackerKit that you can use for other add-ons or keep available to cover shipping costs later!
Shipping
As a result of the campaign's success, we've been approached by several additional logistics partners. Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, actual shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date. This ensures we can continue exploring all of our options for keeping shipping affordable and speedy for our backers around the world! We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey.

Facebook Sign-Ins
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address associated with your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support here.
Apple ID Sign-Ins
If you used Apple ID to log in to your Kickstarter account and did not receive your survey, your email address might be hidden to us. We can help locate your survey and update your email address, so please message us with your Backer ID or Pledge # found on your confirmation. You can learn more about hidden emails through Apple ID here.

Let The Voting Begin
Hello everyone! It’s time to place your vote for the Dogs With Jobs Companion Dog! Comment on this update with the letter that corresponds to the dog you’re voting for. One vote per backer please.
As a reminder, the winning dog will be illustrated into their own custom card for the game and automatically included for every backer! Only one will be chosen, but please know that if it was possible to create a card for each and every one of your companion submissions, we absolutely would! We hope everyone continues to have fun and enjoys seeing these contenders. Their full stories can be read here.

More About The Companion Dog Card
This single dog card will have an experience level of 10 and can complete any type of job! The player that is able to recruit this dog onto their team will benefit from greater flexibility with their job cards.
Other Updates To Come Soon
We’ve been coming down from the rush of the campaign madness! Our team has taken some much needed time away with our families, tending to our own dogs, and getting a couple of game nights in. We just got Dune Imperium Uprising which we’re excited to play!
We’ll be getting back into the full swing of things next week, actively posting to social media and Discord, and sharing progress with you all along the way. Exciting times are ahead!

We’ve said it probably a billion times by now, but we can’t thank you all enough for your support! Creating Dogs With Jobs has been a wild ride and 3060 of you helped bring it to life🤯!!!
This is our very first time doing something like this and the experience has been greater than we could have ever asked for! From all of us at Lab 380, THANK YOU.

Stretch Goals
Take a moment to reflect on all of the stretch goals you all unlocked throughout the campaign! Linen finished cards, foil team leader card, score pad, custom insert, 5 new gear cards andddddd our last minute addition, the Kickstarter Edition box!
Companion Submissions
We will continue to accept companion submissions up until midnight PST on Saturday, August 31st! Once submissions close, our team will continue reading through every single one and selecting our finalists! If you are a finalist, you will be contacted via email/and or Kickstarter messenger so we can grab photos of your pup from you. So keep an eye out!
Pledge Manager
Once we are all set up with our pledge manager BackerKit, you will have an opportunity to upgrade your reward tier and/or order add-ons if you’d like! We will notify everyone when the pledge manager launches.
Late Pledges
If you made it to the party a little late, we will be opening up late pledges for Dogs With Jobs! Please note that if you did not back during the campaign, Kickstarter Exclusives and bundled prices will not be available.
Failed Transactions
We know failed transactions are a common thing with making any online purchases! So if you received a notification that your Kickstarter payment failed, please update your card info and address this asap so we can continue to count you as a backer! Unfortunately, we will not be able to fulfill orders to backers who have incomplete transactions.
Retailers
If you made a $5 retailer pledge, we will contact you via email in order to verify your retailer status. Once your status is confirmed, a member from Lab 380 will follow up and start discussing your order details and options!

With this last stretch goal, we’re upgrading the box to an exclusive and lux Kickstarter edition! Who doesn’t love shiny things? This will apply to all reward tiers, making this Kickstarter experience and your early support all that more special. As always, we can’t thank you enough for making things like this possible 🤯
Added Reverse Side Utility Board Print! ✨
We were considering adding this as an intermediate stretch goal… but we’re going to automatically include it! Now, every Utility Board (Reward Level 3 or add-on) will feature large scale prints of these gorgeous dogs on the back! It’s details like this that we hope bring you joy when you open your game for the first time. Like seeing your dog’s face when you get home from a long day at work 🥹 If you haven't, consider upgrading your reward tier to snag this new and improved beauty ✨
Job Card Ideas 💡
We’ve been workshopping several ideas on how we want to approach these Job Cards. Of course, the dream was always to raise money and have some sort of artwork for these cards (hence, part of the reason we turned to crowdfunding). Top of mind are turning them into badges? Or illustrated symbols? More on this later. While our team needs to consider our budget for the art, we at the very least want to give these cards unique titles! Here are some examples:
- Crime Scene Investigation
- Missing Person
- Airport Security
- Avalanche Rescue

Unlocked Gear Cards/Decoding Mission
You all have unlocked the $100K stretch goal!!! To say our team is excited would be an understatement. Say hello to 5 brand new gear cards!!! These state-of-the-art pieces of equipment work as “wild cards” that can be attached to any one of your units. They have the capability of providing your team additional ongoing abilities or endgame strengths that can tip the game into your favor. So secure them while you can and be smart about which units you equip them to! These will be automatically included in every copy of the Gear Expansion.
Along with the new gear, we have a new mission! Our equipment supplier gave us a 5 number code that grants another free copy of the game! Unfortunately, the code was destroyed in transport 👀. Can you all help recover it? The first person to "unlock" the code by commenting on this update will win the free copy!
Here is the only information we have:
- It's 5 numbers
- We remember the first and last numbers in the code are 3s
- There's a similar code on the Carabiner: 4-15-7-19-23-9-20-8-10-15-2-19
Odd Job Winner
Anddddd we have a winner! By a vote of 77 to 151, the new Odd Job will be the Maremma Penguin Protector! I love the act of conservation and animal harmony this job embodies. I have a feeling the cute factor in this card is going to be too much for me to handle 🥹 Jonathan is pumped to get started illustrating and we’ll share some in-progress sketches along the way!
Solo Mode Coming
We know there are a lot of solo gamers out there that have been eying Dogs With Jobs! Well, good news! We are hard at work crafting our solo mode! This variant will be sure to keep the same spirit of the original game (risk taking, satisfying combos, intermittent doses of stress 😂), but work for 1 player! We only want to release it when it’s fully playtested and fully polished. So keep your eyes out for this update!
